What Our Clients Have To Say
We have the best clients; they've become friends and the greatest allies in the journey of 11.7Africa.
Meghan and I just wanted to tell you how much we truly appreciated all of the work, and effort and care that you put into planning our honeymoon. It was truly the most amazing and life changing (literally) trip either of us have ever taken. To call it the trip of a lifetime is an understatement (at least until we go back!). Being in Africa was just magical, for lack of a better word. We just thought it was the most special place we had ever been. From the sights, to the people, to just the feeling of being there. It was the most memorable honeymoon ever. We are already planning on going back (when we can afford it!)
And then there were the accommodations. I can’t imagine having a better itinerary than we had. The places we stayed absolutely blew us away. And the service we received at every location was well beyond what we expected and really just first class. Everyone was just so nice and accommodating in general, and then you threw in all of the special honeymoon treatment and it was just over the top. We enjoyed every single minute of it. I doubt we will ever be pampered like that again in our life, which is exactly what I wanted for Meghan. And the food was awesome. We had some of the best meals I could imagine in some of the most remote locations, that was so cool.
Our game drives were incredible. We had two great guides and we had our own vehicle the entire time which was such a huge plus for us. We saw absolutely everything we could possibly see. We saw the big five (rhino from a distance) and even found the head of the great migration on the last day. There really was not much left for us to see.
And then Zanzibar was incredible. That villa was so crazy. Meghan thought we were walking into the lobby of the hotel when I told her that was actually just ours. We had some much fun soaking up the sun and getting some much needed relaxation. The service there was crazy, getting waited on hand and foot is definitely a unique experience. We also did some snorkeling, swam with a school of dolphin and had lunch on a deserted beach. We just thought that whole portion of the trip was perfect.
I could go into more detail for days. We have been telling story after story since we have been back. And we are slowly trying to convince everyone we know that they NEED to go to Africa (and use 11.7!). And I am pretty sure we had the best honeymoon of anyone that we know, hands down. Sometimes it’s fun to brag about that to the people who looked at us like we were crazy for taking this trip.
So, I have seriously digressed. We just really wanted to extend as much gratitude to you as we possibly can. I feel like we got to know you through this process and that, I think, is a testament to the amazing service that you provide. We just could not have been happier with our trip. I can’t tell you how many times Meghan and I looked at each other and just said , Jen got this exactly right. Thank you very much for everything that you did, large and small to make this the absolute best honeymoon we could have ever imagined.

PS. Thanks for the photo album, it’s perfect. We are currently sorting through the 1000s of pictures that we took to narrow down the best and get them on display. That album will have a permanent place on our coffee table. I’d offer to send you some photos, but I am guessing you probably have all of the ones you need.
PSS. I would love to give you a glowing review on any travel sites like Trip Advisor or something like that. Just point me in the right direction. I completely understand what you are saying about the marketing aspect. You don’t want to lose any individuality or uniqueness of the 11.7 experience. But I just think we got so lucky getting referred to you from a friend of a friend. I would feel sorry for those who wouldn’t have the chance to have the awesome experience we had. But don’t get me wrong, we don’t want you to be too busy when we ask you to plan our next trip!"
We are back in the states after our trip, and we will not soon be able to forget the incredible trip. Thank you so much for arranging the perfect trip. We have not been impressed the way we were with this unreal experience. It was the trip of a lifetime!"

11.7 delivered. Our safari was spot on. Our guide George was unbelievable, with each day just getting better and better. He deviated from the itinerary on the second day and took us into the heart of the migration. Wildebeests and zebras as far as the eye could see. The area we visited allowed off road travel so we got up close and personal with everything. Saw more elephants than we could imagine at Lake Tarangire. The resort was great, our room was on the beach. The food was typical all inclusive (which you warned us about) but the house wine was verrrrry nice. Our two days in Stone Town were a nice finish and perhaps a little detoxification time as those little fruity umbrella drinks can grow on you.
Thank you for a great trip. If you ever get the yen to ski our neck of the woods, it would be our pleasure to host you. The spring skiing in the Okanagan can be awesome. We can golf in the morning, ski in the afternoon and barbecue on the beach in the evening. Doesn't get any better than that."
