    THE UNEXPECTED.

THE UNEXPECTED. I'm a big believer in making the first time to Africa memorable for clients. And while I strive to make things go as well as possible and according to plan, I some times feel like the random occasions produce more prolific memories than the perfectly planned out ones.

I was reminded of this by my mom who brought me a few photos of my first time in Cameroon. A very imperfect and unplanned time that taught me who I want to be and who I don't want to be. How I want to react and how I don't want to act. What's important and to be envied in life and what not to be accounted for. I can't possibly articulate all that I have learned from living and traveling in Africa throughout the years. It's about connecting with people and a place. And it's most definitely about the unexpected exchange that provokes a smile which is somehow captured and brought to one's attention over a decade later.
